About Chris Shatek
Step Into Your Potential, Leave Alcohol Behind
I help high achieving men and women who are really good at what they do but feel held back by their drinking. I show them how to cut back or eliminate alcohol so they can get back in charge of their life and health.
You're Not Alone in Wanting More Without Alcohol
You're out there doing your best, aiming for success in all parts of your life. But, there's this one thing that's been a bit of a stumbling block, right?
Drinking a bit more than you feel you should, and it's starting to get in the way of your dreams and day-to-day happiness.
You're looking for a way to get back in control, to feel healthier, and to really make the most of every day without alcohol holding you back.
The Hurdle That's Slowing You Down
It's tough when something that seemed like a fun part of your life starts causing problems. Maybe it's making you feel less healthy, maybe it's messing with your job, or maybe it's causing trouble in your relationships.
You've tried cutting back on your own, but it's hard, and it hasn't really worked out like you hoped.
You're looking for some help to make a change, but you're not sure where to find it. You want something that fits with your life, something that understands you're a high achiever and you don't want to slow down.
My Journey From Alcohol To Freedom
I'm Chris Shatek. I've been exactly where you are now, and I made it through. I've learned a lot about how to tackle this problem, and now I help people like you.
I know it can feel like a big mountain to climb, but I've got some tools and strategies that can really make a difference. You don't have to do this alone.
For over two decades, I worked in the radio industry as an on-air personality, a career I loved. But it also introduced me to a lifestyle where drinking was normalized, if not encouraged.
My turning point came with two job losses within nine months during the COVID pandemic, a time of profound uncertainty and reflection.
This was when I realized that my relationship with alcohol was not just a personal battle. It was a blockade preventing me from reaching my full potential.
Armed with this realization, I set out to change, diving deep into coaching and hypnosis methodologies, earning certifications, and fixing my life piece by piece.
But it wasn’t just about obtaining certificates and changing my habits. It was about confronting the very foundation of my beliefs and behaviors around alcohol.
I tackled my challenges head-on, learning to reprogram the subconscious patterns that kept me tethered to my old ways.
Now, as a coach and hypnotherapist, I bring a wealth of personal experience combined with professional expertise to the table.
I understand the struggle with alcohol because I've lived it. This journey has equipped me with the tools, strategies, and empathy necessary to guide others through their struggles.

The Danger of Waiting
Without confronting your relationship with alcohol, the same patterns that trouble you now will likely continue, or most likely worsen.
Think about it - more mornings filled with regret, more opportunities slipping away, and the growing realization that you're not living up to your potential.
The cycle of wanting to make a change but not knowing how can lead to increased stress, affecting not only your mental health but your physical well-being and relationships too.
The truth is, ignoring the problem won't make it disappear.
Take the step now to address this together, avoiding the pain of regret and the cost of missed opportunities.
"The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be."
